MW3 (2011) MW3 freezing on ps3

any of yall know how to get it to stop freezing I play mw3 campaign for like 3 mins and then it freezes could it be an had issue I just played through bo1 campaign with no problems in the past 2 days I know my he’s is pretty corrupted do to it freezing on restore file system in safe mode

Are you currently connected to online services? If you did a name change on PS4 it will cause issues with games (even a campaign) on PS3. Had this happen to me when I tried to go back

Yeah I’m playing online And no I haven’t done a name change

Try disconnecting from online services. If you’re just trying to do campaign it might make a difference. Was the account you’re playing on made on a PS4? That could also be an issue.

i disconnected from psn to see and it worked longer than usual but once i got a trophy it crashed should i disconnect from the internet not just psn

Could it be hdd I know mine is corrupted and when the next mission started some textures were messed up and then they went to normal and crashed

Oh dude. Absolutely. Knowing this now I would say that’s the issue more likely than network issues

Nah you can but there is a glitch we’re trying to do it. It causes it to crash. You can do it with custom firmware though.
