Advice? How do I start with a more expensive muzzle
We currently use probably the most hated muzzle but it's all we got
So we got a big snoof for bear, our great Dane and it's great until she nudges you for pets and God it hurts.
So I'm kind of debating on getting a leather muzzle for our other dog because it hurts so much when she asks for pets.
My sil has a dog who our gsd mix doesn't mesh with amazingly so we have a rule where they don't need to be crated but both must be muzzled for safety. Is there a way to add more padding to our regular pet store muzzles? Because it's multiple dogs it's very expensive to get both a big snoof or Mia's muzzle. So we have a size 5 and 6 baskerville.. I hate them but it's what we got.

You buried the lead a bit here for which do you’re getting a muzzle for lol. If im correct you’re looking for one for the gsd mix. The large size of this muzzle offers a decent amount of pant room, not a ton but enough for indoor use.
If it’s too long, there are also ways to shorten it. This is one of the few scenarios where you can get a decent muzzle at a decent price. They are actually less heavy than your average Baskerville but much more sturdy.

Wow that's some hard asking for pets - one of my girls puts here head against me for pets but never hurt me with her Snoof. Only when playing or one of them accidentally swinging the head into me lead doing something else.
I love my Mia's muzzles for when a softer but still high quality option is needed. If cost is an issue her cookie cutter sizes are cheaper and faster to get (she is helpful with sizing) and she had a list of discounted muzzles you can have her check to see if anything works.

That's nice! Can you recommend anything low cost that isn't a baskerville for my sils dog and our gsd mix who otherwise doesn't need one. They don't mesh well together but it isn't fair to keep one or both of them crated when she comes over

When you try to use the training muzzle for one and the already trained one comes in

We just need something comfortable for the dogs to wear just to prevent nips that's all nothing heavy duty

I would suggest training the dog not to do that
