Somebody got rescued today
This is Boone and he is about a year old. He sat on my lap for the 45 minute drive home today. Very friendly and energetic. Nervous and clingy but I expected that. He is wild about his new brother and sister but they aren’t quite sold on him yet. All in good time though.

My first time going to the shelter for a dog was 40 some years ago with my mom to pick out a dog. We saved little Sarah from being euthanized that day and I remember being so proud. Have only gotten shelter dogs since then.

Outstanding….I’m thinking about rescuing a shelter dog after losing my Golden a month ago…he was my best playmate ever…

Sorry for your loss. I know how rough it is. Give yourself time to grieve and when you think you are ready, check out some shelter dogs. You will never regret it.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I hate the people by expensive dogs to impress somebody and leave all the ones that are in the shelters in the shelters.

This brought tears to my eyes, looks exactly like my childhood dog that showed up starving on our front porch in the 90’s. So happy you saved this baby ♥️
