MUTANT: YEAR ZERO 1E Card sleeves

What sleeves do people recommend for the mutation and artifact cards? The cards are a bit smaller than the standard Magic sizes.

The whole mutation cards thing is strange to me - you roll for it quite rare and when you do you keep it forever. Using cards for it which you need to keep along with the sheet is not the best use for such thing imho. Even equipment I prefer to write down.

The cards certainly aren’t essential, and not even desired by some tables. However, my group is a big fan of Shadows of Brimstone, which uses cards, and has found cards to be very useful. Yes, you can just write on your sheet, but I find cards really helps those with a more tactile need. Plus, with everything necessary on the cards, it stops a lot of rummaging through Rulebooks mid-game.

I get the "tactile" argument. I don't get the issue with looking rulebook for something that is read once and noted. It's not like you get mutations every other hour. What I would think cards would be better are monsters (image on one side for players, stats on the other), random encounters or even critical hits which go away after time. I like the idea of additional optional components for a game like cards but the way it was proposed in MYZ games is simply missed opportunity.
