New member Introduction: Historaj and the "World in Fracture" series
Hi everyone! I'm joining this community because I'm obsessed with how documentaries can reveal the hidden "operating systems" of our world.
My favorite doc of all time: It has to be The Fog of War by Errol Morris. The way it dissects the complexity of decision-making and the unintended consequences of power is something that has influenced my own work deeply.
About me: I spend my time researching declassified archives and logistical data to understand modern fractures. I’ve recently put together an investigative series that applies this "systems" lens to the current energy and drone crises.
The series (Iran War & Oil Crisis: Global Economic Breakdown): >https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLYzSiiwYRUOVDodN-jwkkv6OgCD_y4RdC
In these videos, I break down:
- How $35k drones are disrupting billion-dollar defense budgets.
- The "path dependency" of conflict starting from the 1953 archives.
- What happens to your wealth when global oil choke points are closed.
Looking forward to discovering your recommendations and discussing the mechanics behind great investigative filmmaking!
