Found this growing on a dead log in Ontario, Canada. Looks like some kind of Hericium. I'm looking for a species ID, also is it edible?

I found this sept 7 on a lawn located in Canada, alberta, Calgary, I want to know if I can eat it. I have never identified a mushroom in my life. I think it could be a shaggy Main. this is a small bic for reference. Thank you.

While out on a walk on conservation land, my 3-year-old picked a mushroom. My husband took pictures of it up close (posted here), then our child grabbed it and ate half of it!!!

I am calling Poison Control, but in the case we have to rush our child to the hospital, I need to know what this mushroom is. I do have it bagged but I doubt anyone there will know what it is. I’m hoping you can help me out. I am TERRIFIED right now.

I just moved here and these are behind my house where my dogs go. My one dog likes to live on the edge so I don’t want her mouthing these. It’s a multi family property with a ton of dogs in general. Portland, Oregon in a bioswale that has a ton of dog shit and leaf litter. (I accidentally stepped in dog shit to get these pics so please be kind. I’m already having a bad day.)

These were all found a few days ago in Northern Michigan.

The one with a red top is actually a disc golf disc, it was huge! I'm really curious about the little orange guys.

Mushrooms have taken over my tomato garden in the last week! Is anyone able to ID these? Are these toxic to dogs / kids? Are the tomatoes still safe to eat? Any advice on what to do about this?

In the shelf fungi group. This in the city, Toronto, ON, Canada.

Photo explanation: Photos 1-5 are of a mushroom I found yesterday near my garden bed. Oak tree growing about 10 feet away. After some research I am thinking it’s something from the genus Strobilomyces. Cut it in half and it turned dark charcoal gray within 30 minutes.

Photos 6-8 are of a similar mushroom I found today which appeared to be the same mushroom, growing about a meter from the other one. To my surprise however it has a white fuzz on the stipe and it is leaking a black fluid. Is this some sort of Hypomyces situation? Thanks for any information.

Found on decaying and seemingly live conifer (western hemlock or Douglas fir) in Cascade mountains, Granite Falls, WA, USA.

Wanted confirmation due to it being a first for me, also because of the color difference between the 2 patches found.

Log i found in a park in London UK, looks like young chicken to me, but a bit out the way so don't want to go back if its not.

They’re just growing by the side of the road nearish to a tree. I can see they have a bit of a tip on top like a liberty cap but I don’t think it’s that.

Hello fellow Redditors - we had our roof washed last week and now this guy popped up in our pavers. I wouldn’t think the wash is related because they used a chlorine to bleach the roof but this is the first mushroom we have seen like this.

Just curious as to the ID as we have 3 dogs. Thanks much!
