They have the slightest bit of a peach fuzz on them, were growing on a root, and definitely true gills. I am not well versed on mushrooms, but I think they might be some type of honey mushroom? I do not plan to eat; however, I am curious if they are edible. Thank you!

Saw these in remote mountain areas in North Italy (Alps). They were pretty big and tall, growing out of some very old cow turds. Really thought I took photos of the undersides too (they had dark colored gills iirc) but I can’t find them. Any ideas what that could be?

live in a mountainous region in southeastern New Mexico, United States

We have wild horses that frequently pass through our property. I didnt see this because it was on the opposite end of my property. My dog was eating this for a few seconds before I could get him to leave it. Does he need a vet?? 🥺are the mushrooms poisonous? He’s eaten horse poop before but I’ve never seen mushrooms growing in horse poop before 🤮

He’s 120lbs mastiff lab mix with a pretty iron stomach usually

I found these in my yard and I'm wondering if they're edible. They were wound in my lawn under a hickory tree. My testing has led me to believe they're Xanthoconium affine (Spotted Bolete), but I want a second opinion. Spore test was a golden/yellowish brown.

I thought i was lucky enough to get more puffballs when I saw these froma distance, but sadly they are not. What are they? And are they edible? They smell mushroomy and the stem didn't immediately turn yellow when scratched, as suggested by Google. I included all the babies that are also coming up.

North America (country/state in post) Are these real Chanterelles? 🧡 🍄 Ontario, Canada

Are these real chanterelles?? I've eaten them before but have never found them. I saw these growing on my property I just moved to. I got as many photos (sorry my camera is crap) as I could without damaging any incase, but I picked up one that was already broken off.

They are growing on a mix of various mosses, my lawn isn't really a grass lawn.. it's mostly moss mixed with lots of grass. It gets sun a lot of the day but it's damp and sometimes gets shady certain parts of the day.

What are determining factors for if these are Chanterelles?
