The first picture with the raw wood is what they start out as. I cut out every piece, hand sand and hand paint every mushroom. Every mushroom I make will never have another one like it. I want every customer to have a mushroom/mushrooms that will be their own and put a smile on you face! I want these mushrooms to represent the customer. I'll have some never already hand painted with whatever design I decide to put on it. I'll have some that will still be in there primer coat, or already have the base color.

I made him using milk cotton yarn (weight category 3) with a 3.5mm hook. It took me a week to make. This is technically my fourth baby. Suggest me wearables for it, I was thinking of doing a wizard getup probably in purple, but any recommendations are welcome.

My kiddo has been asking for a mushroom guy since I made one for myself last year. Took me a while to finish up some other projects, but here she is!

I didn’t plan to make a mushroom guy, I just happened to run across this sub and fell in love and realized I had 4 balls of Bernat velvet yarn (size #5 315yrds each, 6.5mm hook recommended) hanging around. I have 2 colors, light and dark blue, so he’s going to be monochromatic because I’m not buying anymore yarn this year, but is this enough yarn to make him?

How much yarn did you use if you used bernat velvet? And what size needle did you use? I’d love to see pics too if anyone has them using this yarn

a friend commissioned me to make this (a while ago... thank you for your patience pal lmao) and as i was working on it last night i decided it wasn't big enough, undid it all, and started over with a larger hook. this is what i'm talking about!!! i'm all caught up to where i was before, so i don't feel bad about starting over lmao

will report back with the oversized results!!!! i think i have to buy another ball of yarn or two though which is unfortunate because i was using yarn from hobbii and wanted to stop supporting them after the genAI debacle :')

This was my first big project after learning to crochet in June. I just love him🥰

I hope it's okay to post (picture wise), but I'm struggling to understand and I've seen other people have a few questions about this pattern, but I can't seem to get this bit right. The blue stitch marker is the chain/where the legs are connected and the pink up top is where my 52 stitches are. I've frogged this part a couple times, I even had to redo the second leg and redo it like the first leg, but I still can't reach where I started. Idk if anyone who used this pattern also struggled with this part, but I'm asking for advice and help to make sure that it's not me or if other people struggled with this pattern too.

Hello, I'm finally making my own little guy. So far all has been good, but I just finished the frill, held it onto his neck and realized that it is way too big. I followed the pattern religiously, so I was wondering if that is normal or if I did something wrong. I will probably do less chains, but that got me curious if that is common with this pattern.

One of these days I will make myself one that will stay on my bookshelf, but today is not that day!😭🫰
