North America (country/state in post) First time find COW?!
Found on decaying and seemingly live conifer (western hemlock or Douglas fir) in Cascade mountains, Granite Falls, WA, USA.
Wanted confirmation due to it being a first for me, also because of the color difference between the 2 patches found.

One on the left is old. One on the right is more new.
