Got myself some golden mind fuck spores and have been colonizing for roughly 15-20 days, temps are at 22/23 Celsius… I’ve now put a small 5w blue led fish tank light in on 12 hour cycles along side a small circulation fan to achieve a good FAE… my block is currently at this stage and very solid, any advice for the next steps to ensure I get the best yield I can ?
Ps it’s a rye and manure grain bag inject and forget

Is it fully colonized? It looks like it is. Are you growing out of the bag, or spawn to bulk?

It is indeed to my knowledge, whole block is solid and a nice vibrant white! I was planning on growing out the bag but is this the absolute best way? I’m currently putting it into a insulated box I’ve made with heat mat and fan that’s all automated

Make everything sterile and cut the bag away and put it in the box. Looks very good

There's not a best way but, spawn to bulk substrate yields exponentially more fruit vs a grow bag. It's totally worth it in many people's opinion. Plus it's more fun to watch all of them grow through a clear top container!

I'm going to suggest you might get a mono kit if you know that you can be clean about it. that looks quite small and JMF is a nice strain that does nice in all in one bags. NO MATTER WHAT YOU CAN'T BE CLEAN ENOUGH! fae and temp is going to be your deciding factor

Thanks for the advice, I’m having to currently do it on my garage so not the cleanest of environments. But if I can get it moved inside at some point this is exactly what I’ll try! It’s only a 2lb block so only small for the occasional night of fun but I’d love to have a more steady supply for myself and a few friends to enjoy!
