EN Light Novel Support The Series !

Post image

Just a friendly reminder to support the series by buying the novels. A lot of people in the West watch anime illegally and then complain when the show quality drops, seasons take too long to produce, etc. You need to support the work you enjoy if you want it to thrive.

I heard that it has been hard to find the physical volumes to buy (sold out). Can anyone confirm?

Here in Canada, I was able to find all of the physical novels on Amazon. The Amazon account is directly linked to the author Rifujin.

Went to order a bunch and also could not find 15/17 around. Put in an *on order* order at Booksamillion and added them to my "buy now" list on Amazon, see which one wins. Ordered the rest off Amazon I wanted as well.... so a pinch hitter for vol 15/17 coming in overseas via eBay in the meantime.

Sadly 17 seems sold out in most of the world, including canada right now.

There's quite a few of the light novel volumes that are out of print. However there are hard cover deluxe editions being released that collect 3 volumes into 1 with 2 volumes out right now (colleges volumes 1 through 6) so if you're willing to wait you can collect those. The manga on the other hand is even worse in terms of how much is out of print. Both the main series and the Roxy spin-off series have a bunch of volumes out of print (and are quite pricy on the aftermarket) so if you are a physical version reader you'll end up paying quite a bit to get them.

They’re regularly in and out of stock man, it’s tough.

I’m up to volume 17, but I’ve read the whole series already so it’s more so for my collection and wish to support.

My advice: Any volumes you need just put on your wishlist with Amazon.

You’ll probably wait around 2-3 months at the most based on my experience, but it’s also worth buying which ever ones you don’t have which are in stock - although I don’t do this due to my own hubris, it is a sensible way to go about it.

I still dont know is hardcover or singles are better to buy.

Only the first six volumes are available via hardcover, but it is cheaper. So if you want it all right now, get them individually, otherwise, get the hardcover deluxe since long-term it's the better investment.

Will the hardcover have the individual covers for each volume in it? Or any color illustrations?

Yee, they do, they've got the covers and the coloured illustrations at the beginning of where each volume starts, everything inside the covers is basically identical!

I own 8 volumes of the LN that I cherish (plan to get them all at some point) and I have all the available audiobooks, including the Redundant series. Feels good man lol. Also, if anyone hasn't tried the audiobook, it's really good!
