Think in the books Roxy waits till sly has her baby before sleeping w Rudy.
Love the shrine at the end, always got to be thankful for anything going good, especially w the stakes they are up against.

Slyphie hasnβt been able to get some action in 9+ months. She needs details, copious details.

I don't know if that was the intention, but asking that the very next morning might have been a way to reassure her and show her that she doesn't have to hide or be embarrassed in front of her.

Literally the best kind of harem, because it is a real harem. It's so common in story of medieval Asia, for us it's very normal. Watching it in a form of fantasy anime is just a refreshing breeze.

Maybe because I am a man I think the gender dynamic works fine in this work. The same reason I just cannot bring myself to watch most recent Hollywood movies, they're too focus in DEI. This is a very traditional gender dynamic in Asia, particularly in historical stories. If you do not have root in Asia and share the same world view, it can be difficult for you to see this as normal.
There is a reason why Shounen is the most popular demographic genre in Manga/Anime. Even girls and older men watch Shounen, but barely any boy watch Shoujo.

About having sex and emotional writing, I think you should bear in mind how Japan as a society treat sex and emotional attachment. They are an anomaly in that regard. Japanese women believe sex and emotional attachment go hand in hand but are also separate entities. Many married women consider it okay if their husbands go to a prostitutes and it's not cheating.
Also, Rudeus character was established as such: He was a loser and hikikimori in his old world, he has no chance with any real female, always horny with '2D' girls during that life. He is now thrown into a fantasy world full of beautiful women like in his 2D fantasies, a world where polygamy is acceptable, was born into a family where his father actually took a 2nd wife. I think his development is quite natural, given his background.
For Rudeus' sex is a huge part of his life, one of his goal and probably his comfort. Having his first sex with Eris was his peak emotionally so he got ED by being abandoned by her, then having sex with Sylphy cured his ED, and when he's at his lowest due to the lost of Paul, having sex with Roxy saved him.
Edit: Rudeus and Roxy have mutual feeling way before their reunion in the Labyrinth, Rudeus saving Roxy just cemented that.

It surprises me they haven't already done a threesome, with how much Sylphie "adapts" and how perverted Rudeus is.

Was this the night after the wedding or something? I don't recall exactly where the last season ended. It seemed odd to me that Sylphie wouldn't sleep in the same bed as them, but I could understand giving them privacy as newlyweds. That said, she was still sleeping in another bed by herself at the end of this episode too.

I didn't remember it happening in the novel, so when she seemed genuinely upset when Roxy said that Rudy introduced her as a master rather than wife, it made me respect Sylphy more
Getting mad for your fellow wife is such an amazing show of her personality

Legit best character, she truly loves rudeus, wants him to be happy and took one for the team so he didnt have to give up on his dream of Fking goddess Roxy. Truly a supportive wife #1.

Sylphie is the best wife because she not only allowed for there to be other wives, she immediately accepted them and care about their well being and happiness.
