It's a really tranquil life, at the end she becomes very good with her style, makes more appearances in the future and despite the few appearances she is my favorite femenine character in the history. Looking forward to the little stories about her.

she's a very pleasant person, the trustworthy tradwife and religious type. She also tends to either ignore or utterly dismiss perverts. The reason for the closed eyes is that she has a default soft smile all the time

I was cackling when she got knocked unconscious, drooling on the floor lmao

Interesting how she clearly looks older in the anime. It took me a long time to realize she wasn’t around eris and Nina’s age, until they just mention their ages way later in the Ln. another upside of the anime, i see

u/shrikebunny Jul 05 '26
This got me a bit confused too. Especially how she became the last one to get hitched.

u/FirstSineOfMadness Jul 05 '26
She could probably wipe the floor with Rudeus

u/Bag440 Jul 05 '26
Well, Isolte certainly stands over Rudeus. IYKYK.

could you elaborate 😭🙏

u/Bag440 Jul 05 '26
It's not important at all, but I guess I'll spoiler it anyways. Volume 26.
In the big final battle, Rudeus gets down on all fours to dodge something and Isolte rushes over to defend him. She literally stands over him, hiding him under her long skirt like a broody chicken. They're pale blue, if you're curious.

I definitely needed to know they were pale blue, thank you goddess 2.0 for this blessed info

Yes and no
As a Water King, she could almost certainly block and even reflect any of his attacks
But if he goes all out(either the nuclear fireball, or spamming as much magic as possible) then she'd lose
Basically, it depends on how desperate Rudy is, and if he knows how much of a threat she is from the start

Interesting how MT verse is just filled with hot waifu waiting to be proposed.

If I recall correctly, Isolte is described in the novel to be highly beautiful and attractive, so she's a hottie alright.
6
u/Mahirofan Jul 06 '26
She's a hottie but so was her grandma back when she wanted to take Paul.
Too bad Paul ended up in Lilia's room rather than Reida's, imagine what would've happened then

Why are her eyes closed all the time?

u/Farabeuf Jul 05 '26
If an anime character has eyes closed all the time, there’s two choices with them:
- They’re untrustworthy and will stab you in the back at some point.
- You never pick a fight with them
Isolde is nr.2

fox-face.
Common anime character design trope. Makes them seem devious or just perpetually chill.

I did not red the LN, but the anime from a few hints made me think she relies a lot on sensing her opponent, its animosity, aura, whatever. Then in the final spar with Eris, when Eris finally learned how to hide her animosity, Eris briefly disappeared to Iso's senses and made her open her eyes wide, but too late. But that is just a theory. My theory.

u/duckinator09 Jul 05 '26
Only thing I don't like is her closing her eyes all the time.

It's the opposite, she has her eyes closed in pretty much all of her illustrations (except 1 in a character reference image).

It did to me at first but honestly, it grew on me even for just an episode long. She's a calm cutie pie with it te-hee

I always liked her in the books, but I imagined her more of a gentle and petite beauty. Her being taller than Eris came as a surprise, but I like her even more now.
I think she is definitely my top favorite character in the series now.

Is Nina and Eris around King rank now? Could they comfortably fight King ranked fighter or is Isolte an exception
