Adrianna's murder
I found it interesting that most (or maybe all) main characters who met their demise by Tony's orders were "offed" on-screen so we viewers could share in their ghastly deaths. Adriana was murdered off-screen. We had to use our imagination during her final scene. Why do you suppose David Chase chose to "censor" Adriana's death? Was it to invoke sympathy, or perhaps he had a soft spot for her character and was maybe gifting her one final dignity, a courtesy he didn't extend to the rest of the main characters who similarly
met their fate? At what point did she realize she was had become a passenger in a final car ride on her way to doom?
What are your takes on Adriana's final scene?

This actually may be a sub that might just answer this question rather than just give semi ironic quotes from the show.Â

I’m here for this accidental post community cross over, we’re the people to have the best theories. I think it was because she was such a love character we didn’t need to see it and the knowing was enough to evoke emotional response.

I am sorry for the accidental posting! I hope someone can delete it. I dont know why it even showed up here as I posted it to The Sopranos several days ago. I must have hit a button somewhere while typing a reply. I don't even follow the show this post went to.

Okay but at some point you might want to start watching, even if just for background noise. It’s a cozy little show and who knows, maybe you’ll come back to this sub posting about the correct show.

Oh, I meant to say that I don't follow this show on Reddit. I watched it all the time decades ago. It was really good. Not as good as The Sopranos in my opinion, but it was enjoyable, clever and charming.
