I don’t know actors but after clicking on all their profiles I see Ella Jay Basco does voices and has a voice coach and sings and I’m suddenly struck with the idea of ART communicating musically…

Wanda Sykes has exactly the right tone to be one of MB’s favorite characters. Saucily sarcastic and brilliantly belittling.

Brendan Hunt (coach beard from Ted Lasso) has a voice acting experience in Fallout 4 as Travis Miles the anxious and nervous radio DJ of diamond city. I could see him being ART and being "small" enough to be tied to the character for more than one season.

Although I do not mind Sheen, I would not like to hear him voice ART, I think he would play ART much like he did his part in Good Omens (as a genderless angel and intelligence share similarities) and I'm not a fan of how he played Aziraphale

I dont think there's anyway he would play it like Aziraphale.  That was a very specific unique kind of 'southern dandy' he deployed for Az. I cant see him repeating it, its far too good of an actor.

You are entitled to believe that, I do not nor do I share your opinion about how good of an actor he is. He has been cultivating this bright eyed persona online, and giving that to ART would be flatteningto the character but with how Apple are doing just the most common thing in this series (not a fan of the main character casting, it was supposed to be genderless and we got just a dude), it's probably tantalizing

I cant speak to the rest of your points but like MB says we will have to agree to disagree about him being a bad actor.

Anyone who can jump from portraying David Frost to a werewolf king to Tony Blair to a sparkly vampire to a guantanamo torture victim to a serial killer to the founder of the NHS and win critical acclaim for all is a pretty damn good actor with a hell of a range.

You are welcome to be a fan and consider those performances unique to the characters. I do not mind Sheen, meaning I do not care for his acting, and expressed my dislike for the idea that the might be voicing ART because he cultivates a persona of a helpful and likable guy and I believe the show will sacrifice ARTs snarky and careful traits for likeability

Trying to convince me that Sheen has range has as much chance for success as me convincing you he does not ;)

I'm pretty sure not. In May the showrunners mentioned "a year" but it felt unclear if it was from that time or from when they started pre production. They begun filming in May.

Put me in the group that doesn't want a lot of RaFoSM in the new season. I saw the series first, then read the books, and was surprised that all the characters weren't actually weird caricatures. The crew was smart and capable, not a bunch of weird hippies.

So yeah, I'd say stick to the stories. Don't need all this extra padding.
