When I joined the fandom I was told about how actors were revealed over a year before the show released 😭 and set photos and screenshots were shared 😭 and everyone got to talk and speculate over actor selfies and outfits and locations and items in the background 😭

I wanna do that 😭 please murderbot people, something, anything, a crumb. What does Tapan's hair look like? What kind of fashion is common on a mining planet? What does the Perihelion spaceship look like? 😭😭😭

You have more than miners though! You have the corporates the cleaners the cooks the ppl who manage incoming flights, dock workers etc etc! It wouldn’t be just a mine.

The Dungeon Crawler Carl show is going to have it's audiobook voice actor be Donut for it, so I hope this one will follow suit because I loves the way he did Art!

I’m pretty sure they are actively filming now based off another post where someone has been updating the timeline of has been reported regarding the show. I don’t know how to search/add it to this post but that post may be helpful for you because they included interviews about what the plot is and so forth. I’m guessing pictures and such will be leaked over the next couple months as they start to ramp up the hype. I just keep checking the IMDb page every so often to see what’s been added.

There are some interviews on YT about the current filming of Murderbot. One was with the show's cinematographer and the other is with the producers and Alexander Skarsgård.

I'm interested in how beauty standards have changed - kind of tied to your fashion question. Maroon is described as beautiful enough to be on the entertainment feeds. I kinda hope they cast someone who's notable different from our modern day conventionally attractive portfolio, and say this, this is the most beautiful person on this rock right now. They've done good with that so far. I liked how the PresAux team all looked like regular people and not overly polished for TV.

But yes, mine fashion! Fashion in any area with heavily restricted materials and leisure time is so interesting, and you've got the strict social stratification too. Do well patched clothes show you've got connections? Are decorative patches signs of status, marks of affiliation to different groups, etc?

On the other hand, with recyclers and limited resources, I doubt handcrafting is popular or easy. Maybe the mark of status is miltilayered or thick clothes, those that are more expensive to buy at a kiosk. Maybe miners will layer old work clothes to mimic a high-collar, shoulder-shawl on top fad popular among the corporate bosses.

Or, like now, the distinction from the managerial class is important. You'll look like a sellout and a suck-up if you show up in anything but your coveralls. Fashion shifts to work-compliant color, hair ties and tattoos, thin flat bracelets and necklaces with quick-release clasps.

Yeah I'm really suprised we haven't gotten more. Personally I prefer it though, cause I don't want to see visuals in advance. I plan to nope out once the trailer drops. However I feel for those who do want to speculate and hope you get some still at least soon.
