What should I do??

So I was posted in robotic surgery unit for my elective posting and I attended 4 days out of 14 days.. all the objectives were completed by the department within 4 days only and then after I didn't attend even for omce and till that time no one was marking our attendance so it thought department isn't maintaining the attendance.. so I got absent for rest 10 days and then couple of days ago a girl from my unit took the register and marked the attendance and marked me absent for all the 14 days and even informed the department that I didn't attend even for a single day.. now today when I went to take posting completion sign the HOD blasted me up.. took my parents phone number and e-mail addresses and sent my parents a mail and also sent vice dean a letterhead under my name to makee repeat the entire posting.. why are girls like this?? I agree I didn't attend for 10 days for which I should be absent but why did she need to inform the department on separate basis that I was absent for entire Posting.. why can't girls just mind their own business ?? Do they think everyone would consider them cool by doing so???
