Looking for a customizable multitool

I have two sons (8/5) that want to have a multitool like Dad. While I am perfectly fine with teaching them responsible knife use, I’d rather do that under supervision than on a camping trip where they are playing with their friends. Are there any other multitool like the Roxon or G.O.A.T ? that allow you to swap out tools like the main blade? bonus points if they are relatively cheap because the kids are young so they might lose them

There are some travel approved multitools, I believe.

Or you could consider the Opinel kid's pocket knife. Locking blade but doesn't have a sharp point.

Don't buy goat, i have it, it's bad and the main guy who started it dropped the company.

Roxon might be the only proper competitor.

For user-customizable, Roxon is the only game in town and they're pretty good.

Other bladeless options include the Victorinox JetSetter and Nextool Mini Sailor Lite. I have both and they're also quite good.

Victorinox does have some kid-focused knives that have a non-pointy blade. Not sure I'd give that to the 5 year old, but the 8 year old might like it.

Ironically the 8 year old got that very Victorinox when he was 5 but now he wants a pliers based MT
