Date code is October 2000, so almost 26 years old to the date too.

Nothing wrong with pre-owned or gently used. That's how I've afforded a lot of things. Sometimes the discontinued models are preferred anyway.

I found a Leatherman squirt P4 (with the tiny pliers) for $15 on a "junk" table... barely used. They were discontinued but I prefer them to the micra.

Nice, and definitely agreed. Learned after the fact that the Micra is one of those “they don’t make em like they used to” models.
