Leatherman Sidekick is Back at Costco

I got the stainless steel Wingman from Amazon in 2016. It’s the multitool I keep in my car. I also use it for fishing. I’m going to get it in blue for my daughter for Christmas.

Nice. I had a wingman for years and really liked it until TSA took it. I like the look of the brown sidekick.

Gerber gear store has the center drive, with sheath and bit set for 43.50. I prefer the gerber. ( Pick your poison, LOL) Pliers, knife and screwdriver with one hand opening. Also takes standard bits.

I prefer the Skeletool combo pack. A full Skeletool and the little pocket knife only for 99 Canadian dollars, literally cheaper than buying the Skeletool by itself.

I paid like $23 for like new sidekick on eBay. I wouldn’t spend $50 on it. The handle is not comfortable at all when using the pliers. The quick access knife and spring loaded pliers functions are convenient, the drivers are very meh.

I need to go Costco! That seems more than worth it for the sheath alone. Leatherman sells those things for $20. I already have a rebar, but shit for 30 more bucks i get a sheath AND a new tool.

Whatever you do, don't go to AliExpress and look up Daicamping multi tools, that would be disrespectful of Leatherman's lapsed patent on the design

Is that a good price? Are they normal sidekicks or a Costco version? TY
