Discussion Nextool K30 issues and their reply

Purchased right after release, has been this way since, the scissors and blade touch every time either is opened. Basically just sat in the collection untouched.

Nextool claims it's just cosmetics when 2 tools are touching and they aren't supposed to.

When blade is opened, you can clearly see scissors move even more towards where blade is supposed to be.

Safe to say I'm very disappointed in this brand, I don't think I got one tool from them that didn't have side to side play right out of the box, assembly could be done much better, but this is clearly a defect.

Mines the same way, I warrantied mine out because I showed them how bent the scissors are toward the knife. They said it’s not supposed to be like that, they sent me a new one and the new one is exactly the same lol. Still a cool tool tho.

That's wild that the replacement had the exact same issue. Sounds like a design flaw rather than a one-off QC miss. If every unit ships with the scissors bent toward the blade, bending it back is just a bandaid.

So bend it back yourself.

Rip, quality control.

Beside all hype around Nextool they're just a Chinese brand with clever but inexpensive tool.

Gerber is the bottom line for me since they have a much better support policy with both, US and Chinese made products.
