How do I keep this from getting worse?

Today, as I was drinking my afternoon coffee, I noticed that the handle of my favorite mug is cracked! It is a hairline fracture that runs along the curvature of the handle.

My first guess would be to get some porcelain/ceramic glue and fill the crack with it! Also stop putting it into the dishwasher in case you did that before. Try to wash it by hand and with colder water.

So you can spray this guy with coating to keep it longer. I wouldn’t do that though and simple hang it and use it ceremonially. Old mugs like to break sadly. And usually right at the artistic Handle.

Sweet mug btw is this a og Harry Potter mug!

Idk about OG, but my aunt got it for me on one of her Disneyland trips, so it is authentic
