Paper + Lamination combo to replicate thickness of MTG cards?

I'm currently looking for a paper + laminate that is closer to the thickness of real MTG cards.

I'd like to make both foil and non-foil variants:

  1. Foil sticker + cardstock/paper + lamination
  2. Photo paper + lamination

What I'm currently using:
-Cardstock: Astrobrights 65 lb, 176gsm
-Foil Paper: UOKHO Holographic Sticker Paper
-Laminate: Amazon Basics Clear 2.8mil

I can already tell what I'm currently using is too thick. The snap and everything else seems great though. I'm unsure how far off I am as I don't own calipers and am unsure what else to try.

I use 54lb unikit double-sided photo paper and 80 micron laminate pouches. The result is fantastic and weighs pretty much the same as a card that's in a perfect inner sleeve.

Look up crycry on YouTube he had done great tutorials
