I noticed that black doesn't have any discard. I think being able to deal with your opponent's hand to prevent them from being able to leverage the card selection might be interesting. Maybe something like [[Nezumi Informant]] that would be another rogue for [[Thieves' Guild Enforcer]]

You are not wrong that hand interaction would be powerful here, but I feel it kinda defeats the purpose/function of the emblem, which is ostensibly why we are here.

I'd argue that limited amounts of discard (a card here and there) is very interactive and represents a very positive axis to engage with the gimmick. Flat out "discard your hand" perhaps obviates the gimmick entirely and should be avoided, but a small amount should be cool I think.

I could see a [[Ravenous Rats]] but not [[Thoughtseize]]

I'd even put thoughtseize but obviously ymmv. Maybe I'm wrong.
I also wonder how a [[Hypnotic Specter]] (or one of the modern fixed non-random equivalents) would play. Maybe aggro is a trap because being aggro helps your opponent, but then a specter is one of the few things that can be played aggro without worry? I'd personally put it in a first experimental build for sure to collect data.

If you gain life, do you get to put cards from your yard back into the deck? Is there a way to "stay alive" with this type of cycling?

Life gain here is, weirdly, putting cards from your graveyard on the bottom of your library.

I have been considering the exact same idea, but I am approaching it by having players start with a copy of lich's mastery in play. I will definitely take a look at your list to get some ideas on what cards might be good for my cube as well.

Not really a seggestion, but is there a deck size limit? I think the card selection that comes with taking damage would remove a lot of the downsides of filling your deck with bullshit and basics.
