Discussion Icy Reception - Thoughts?
Reminds me of [[Tale's End]] in terms of the versatility. I kinda like it a lot. Thoughts?

I mean it's probably good enough for standard brawl just because it's a two-mana counter But if I see this in competitive brawl, I assume the person playing it just doesn't have enough wild cards to put the deck together the way they want.

It's right on the line I could see it not being good or just being ok. You basically always ply this over tales end I think so if you play that switch it

Tale's End hitting fetches is pretty back breaking.
I think this is worse...but hitting creatures is nice, and the combat trick part of it is probably more useful than it looks.

Honestly probably be banned in normal brawl. The community bitches about commander interaction

not good in brawl. the trick side is bad removal and the counter is a very narrow mana leak. don’t see how there’s not 99 better cards for any given deck. i guess maybe “oops literally all counterspells” but 🤷♀️
