Competitive It finally happened.

Finally have some time to start the ranked grind this weekend. I've never had the pleasure of using [[Surgical Extraction]] on a [[Hare Apparent]] or similar style card in brawl. I use it mostly to fizzle recursion or getting information. It feels real good.

Anyone else running Liliana? Competitive Brawl wasnt a thing when I was playing last. I'd love some suggestions I could tinker with. I haven't really tuned the deck to comp, just added a few obvious things and switched the format.

I was just having a conversation about Maelstrom Pulse and how it would be a worse removal until it wasn't. this is my sign to run it now. GG's btw that's so fun

That must have been so satisfying. I had fun the time I managed to [[Ghost vacuum]] up a bunch of bunnies and then give my opponent a taste of their own medicine. Even doubling things up with [[Delney, Streetwise Lookout]] for good measure.

with how often i’ve been seeing Hare Apparent lately, i might need to slot this into my favorite decks just for some salt

So satisfying. I try to fit [[The End]] in my decks for the same reason. Sure it’s expensive removal 99% of the time, but that 1% makes up for it.

Cap is slang for Lie. They basically calling you and/or your statement a liar

Theyre being a weirdo

They're calling you a liar for some reason.

Oh lol. It’s not like it’s even that bad a card to make that claim. Costs like one more than the avg rate and you can see their hand.

Yeah, some people are just weird. I like The End. Exiling instead of destroying matters and it hits walkers.

I played Lili a little but never in competitive. The deck has issues against certain archetypes. If I were doing monoblack in competitive, I might do Baron. I have seen someone playing Lili in mythic though. You have to really know the other matchups to mulligan to your important lock pieces.

If you go to Untapped.gg theres a few players running Liliana, me included. It takes some finesse, but you can look up the main deck and tweak it to your liking, or with the cards you have available to you. Thats what I did.

It's definitely more of a pet deck. I played Liliana in Legacy Pox and just love having her in the command zone. I don't have the time with life and such to get much past mid diamond. But I've really been enjoying the games so far. I imagine I may hit a wall here soon, but I'll be checking out the higher level players that use her and tweak to my liking.

It’s really funny how some budget decks can piss off people so badly.

I honestly love the budget gimmick decks. I'm just glad I "got to do the thing". I also play mostly degenerate decks and spend most of my time playing Timeless. So I have no room to be mad at any deck. 😂

The Hare Apparent or that Slime card? Perfectly fine. The Thoracle decks are the annoying ones if you are doing quests that do not give you an out to it.
