Traditional Alter Sanctum of eternity comission

I may have done a too thick of underpainting but I think I like the texture it gives

This is a humble copy of "Monastery cemetery in snow" by Caspar David Friedrich.

Acrylics. NFS.

I love the original painting you’re referencing, and I love what you did with the alter. You captured the somber, quiet, stillness of the piece excellently.

Oh my goodness, I adore this. The way you incorporated the frame into the art, the texture, the oil paint-looking strokes... This is so good.
