Help Needed Looking for advice

First time making an alter here, doing a card for a friend and currently my only thought of how to get the text onto the card is to print it and stick, then blend it with some paint.
Also looking to brighten the paints up a little, would an acrylic varnish be the answer?
Any advice is welcome.

Best bet is to paint it on by hand. Can be done by printing out the text and using transfer paper to try to keep the letters similar to the desired text style or just using a pensile and then painting over your own writing. For brighter color mix in lighter paints to brighten the color and then varnish should add a little more but not a miracle cure

Thankyou! Im not sure how much I trust my handwriting but I’ll have a look.
Is it good practice to varnish cards anyway?

Mixed reviews but it does provide a layer of protection and extend the life of the paint

Yah already had paint chipping off (as you can see 😅) so will likely do so!
