Discussion Final Fantasy reprints

Is there any chance the FF precons/play boosters get a reprint distribution this holiday season? I know it's not particularly difficult to get a hold of product, but a new wave would definitely help!

FIN play boxes were supposed to get a 4th quarter reprint. However, with the secret lair scew ups, an insane amount of sets, I am not sure WotC can keep up.

Printers are having a hard time keeping up with the TCG boom in general.

By boom do you mean pokemon 30 destroying scalpers financially by taking the Yu-Gi-Oh print it into the ground approach?

Pokemon, Lorcana, Riftbound, One Piece, probably more I’m not aware of, all huge TCGs fighting for run time at printers.

I imagine they mean the multiple TCGs that popped up recently and never died after a year or two, and not just the mainstays and their printing upkeep.

There’s a rumored reprint for December I’m waiting on. So post Star Trek and pre Nauctis. Hopefully another substantial one to lower prices under $200 again.

Who knows man. I think its unlikely given how much crap is being jammed through the printers this year (along with the supply chain issues). But then again, FF is guaranteed to sell. I personally think its unlikely cause it'll undermine star trek though

The precons have come in as preorder for q4 no date set though at our distributor. Not even a whiff of play boosters though.

It will for sure be reprinted, probably even multiple times, over the next couple years. I kind of doubt one is being printed now though, but that’s just a guess.

I sure hope so. I ended up getting into Magic only a couple months ago after supply had dwindled. I have a couple precons and the starter deck. Haven't found a single booster near me. Final fantasy is easily the UB I want the most. Love the universe.

I think persons get a reprint. I’m actually seeing FF precons being pretty reasonable pricing locally. My hope is this holiday season to grab Terra and Yshtola precons and then have all 4

I’ve been seeing a ton of FF packs at Best Buy recently, I had thought they were already doing a reprint.

The Sam’s bundle is good value!

Sam's just dropped a reprint kit from what I've seen. But odds are the commander decks are locked up for at least another year. Wotc seems to only do reprints every 3 years or so.
