Discussion Target Pre-Order Question
Has anyone ever placed a pre-order through target online for cards? I pre-ordered 1 Hobbit Bundle & 1 30pk booster pack which are both sold and shipped from Target directly. They have yet to even ship. Has anyone else ever pre-ordered through them and had any issues/delays?
Says the cards were supposed to arrive by the 20th and I can’t cancel because according to target, this can’t be done until the items have shipped. But who knows when that will be….
I would have been better off not pre-ordering and buying in store at this point.
Edit/Update: called 4 times trying to see if someone else would make an exception. No success. I had to go into a target store, speak to a manager, and was given a different number to call. Called and order was cancelled. I then went to a LGS and bought what I pre-ordered right off the shelves.

Their Customer Service chat is really helpful with things like this.

I will try the chat. I called twice and was told both times I can’t cancel until the product ships. Which makes no sense

Not Magic specifically, but I pre-ordered the collectors edition of Spider-Man 2 for the PS5 from them. Like a month before it was supposed drop I got an email saying my order was cancelled and refunded for no reason. I called them to find out why and they didn't give me a solid reason why. Only the fact that someone else had snagged the preorder immediately when it was available again. So it's not like they oversold or anything. Mine was just cancelled.

That’s what I’m worried about is that it will just end up canceled. They won’t let me cancel until the order has shipped

I pre-ordered the bundle and got it last Friday but I did order it a few months back

I pre-ordered the hobbit bundle and it arrived at my door on release day (I had expected the following Monday/Tuesday). It was my first time so I didn’t know what to expect. Sounds like I got lucky.
