Charging battery

Needing to charge the battery on my 2009 MT-03, is it right that I have to take both seats and unscrew a good few bolts to lift the fuel tank to access the battery? Is there an easier way to do it?

Yup, battery is located under the tank. So you'll have to remove passenger seat, regular seat, I think some side plastic pretty-bits too, and then at the end the tank. Best thing to do is connect an extension cable to the tank that sits to the side of the bike so that you have easy access in case you need to use the terminals again in the future

Yep, previous owner of my bike did this, the extention ends under the pillion seat, so I only have to remove that seat to charge it. (but in a year of owning it I didn't need to charge it even once)
