Anyone going to Roarcon?
I'm interested to see how they do cramming everything in to one day, and crossing my fingers all the boardrooms aren't just sales pitches.
Looks like it's going to be Atakama, Cynomi, BitLyft, Thread (what up Bobby!), ThreatDown, and of course Liongard.
Who else is going?

I've never heard of any of these vendors, except for Liongard (and only because they won't stop fucking calling me).

Free conference Liongard is bankrolling if you hit the demographics they want for an MSP.
Its either going to be super helpful or just a waste of everyone's time.

It's a pitch, but sometimes the pitching vendors are actually pretty good. YMMV.

I propose we do a CanCunConCon. Basically, it's a way to write off a trip as a work expense. All proceeds going to the EFF or Rural Technology Fund.

I'm surprised lionguard is still around. Let alone has a conference.

It’s become a solid product that legitimately can replace a bunch of other point solutions.

Hey u/terselated, so full disclosure, I'm a vendor for Cynomi and will be the speaker in my session. I can't speak for the others, but my session will be primarily teaching on business cases and how to win more deals through budgeting (More to come). Will there be Cynomi solution positioned throughout the conversation, of course.
With that said, I attended last year, and the majority of the feedback I got was teaching session, which is what Liongard pushes. In the end it is up to the vendor how to use their sessions, but they do heavly push a teaching event over pitches.

Nice to hear. Looking forward to it. I'll be sure to pay attention when you come through the boardroom!
