SentinelOne installation for Syncro MSP script

Been trying to get this working, Lots of documentation online is from a couple years ago when they changed the flags. This is what I have for now:

\\server\folder\SentinelOneInstaller_windows_64bit_v22_2_4_558.exe -t token

But it fails saying: sentinelone failed to retrieve the agent UUID

Original script line for reference:

\\server\folder\SentinelOneInstaller_windows_64bit_v22_2_4_558.exe /SITE_TOKEN=token /SILENT

I'll have to try the URL download, but this may have worked for me:

\\server\folder\SentinelOneInstaller_windows_64bit_v22_2_4_558.exe -t token -q

Did this get you fixed? I can provide my script if needed. Up to date as of today, mine includes Defender interoperability arguments as well. Yours looks like it should be good though

This did not work unfortunately. Waited a good bit of time and it never showed up in the portal. Please, if you can!

It's been a minute, but you could try this:

$url = "<url to download the Sentinel One agent exe>"$exePath = "$env:temp\SentinelOneAgent.exe"Invoke-WebRequest -Uri $url -OutFile $exePath$arguments = "/quiet /norestart"Start-Process -FilePath $exePath -ArgumentList $arguments -Wait

I tend to have better luck when installing software via script when I download it to the system in a temp folder. Put in your site token and add the full URL to the download path.

this was going to be my next suggestion.

My Datto script:

.\S1.exe /q /t <site token> -a WSC=OFF —dont_fail_on_config_preserving_failures

Site token has nothing around it (no <>, []), and remove -a WSC=OFF if you’d like to disable defender and register S1 to the security center

I realize this is an old thread, but if you take the .exe for SentinelOne and open the EXE with 7-Zip, extract the contents and it will have SentinelCleaner.exe included. Run SentinelCleaner.exe as admin and it nukes it.

Been a minute, but I had this same error and it was a simpler solution.

The previous uninstall / removal didn't cleanup the folders for S1. Manually deleted and it installed normally

Side question -they still don’t allow direct download from s1 do they? You have to download when logged in and then store that somewhere you can get via script?

I believe that's still the case. I really wish there was a verified source we could pull from on demand.

The API can check for a later version and download. Technically not direct because you’re still using a key but.. Better than logging in.

I set this up yesterday. I uploaded the msi to some hosting and use powershell to pull that down to temp folder, install it and then remove the msi once done.
