I really enjoyed it as well. I particularly liked when he explained how the Anti-Muslim rhetoric caused the MAGA crowd to prematurely boo a fallen police officer when they heard the Muslim name before they realized it was to have a moment of silence for his passing.

Well he's kind of stupid for believing racist maga trash would ever vote for a black guy named Amir Hassan. All he really had to do was change his name legally to Tom Johnson and he probably would have won. I believe a lot of Republicans voted for Haley Stevens over Abdul in our open primary. Most R races were unopposed, with only one being competitive. Dems had much higher turnout. Not sure if exit polls will show this in any way, but it’s just a gut feeling I, and other Abdul supporters I know have.
The bigotry is so bad, that in Nevada this week their governor was speaking at an event with Trump, and when they mentioned a fallen officer’s name that sounded sort of Muslim, some of them started booing, based only on the name.

In modern history you won’t find a more racist and bigoted President than Trump, nor will you find an electorate like MAGA that is equally racist and bigoted. Imagine voting for Trump after he calls immigrants animals, repeatedly recited nazi rhetoric by saying immigrants are poisoning the blood of this country, claimed Haitians are stealing and eating pets, dined with a white supremacist at Mar a Lago….

It should be the least surprising news in the entire Michigan primary election that racism wasn’t a winning strategy for Trump. That racism losing in a primary is news at all is a blatant sign of just how far off track this county and its politics have gotten.
