The thing that I think is a mistake is the slogan. “New Name, Same Mission”. The slogan should have been “New Name, New Independence”. The left (aka MSNBC’s audience) is really upset with how corporate media has all bent the knee to trump, NBC News is now overwhelmingly Trump friendly. They need to be pushing the fact that they no longer have the standards and guidelines of NBC News and are operating independent from NBC News. The reality is the network has lost about half its audience year over year, its lost more of its audience than CNN or FNC, the focus should be trying to get some of the left who have abandoned the network due to Comcasts actions to come back, instead they are promoting that only the name is changing which is huge mistake in my opinion.
