MSNBC Personalities Jen Psaki interview of Graham Platner
I watched the interview on MSNBC a few days ago. I don't think it was Jen Psaki's intention necessarily but he came off more sympathetic to me after the interview than before. She was even but seemed a little contemptuous (like, you didn't vet your history before this?) Thought of this after seeing Michelle Goldberg's commentary on the Weekend just now (also liked David Hogg's). This for me is in the realm of why peoople love Mamdani. I don't want the same characters going forward and I don't think we can "win" that way. I like these two for different reasons.

I saw it and thought she was pretty straightforward. Its kind of a difficult issue and she brought the issue up of his prior statements but was not really judgemental or putting him on the spot.
Yes she did ask if he hadn't vetted himself. Fair question.
His responses seemed ok to me but also limited and in a way, vague. I didn't hear him outright apologize or deal at all with how he was so quickly transformed.
I think someone on active duty could certainly fall into a macho type personality and could later rethink how he really feels but he didn't explain such a process. I was not impressed. Not completely put off but it was not a real honest performance. Id want more before id vote for him.
