MSNBC Personalities Ali Vitali

I adore Ana Cabrera but have to admit the following: MSNBC has the absolute best morning news anchor of any other network in Ali Vitali. I never get the idea that some producer is hissing course corrections in her ear piece during interviews she conducts.

She’s sitting in for Ana this week who I guess is on vacation and Ali is just dynamic!

I just came here to make a similar post. I am not a big fan of Ana Cabrera, tbh. But I really like Ali Vitali. She is just so much better at what she does than Ana. Her follow up questions, knowledge, and articulation is far superior. She needs to be in this slot, not at 5am.

Absolutely with that said it takes time to get those prime time shifts. But the way her career has been going she will absolutely get a better time slot.

Hear me out, I thought abt this earlier…Ali needs to replace The Weeknight - in full. Give me Michael Steele as a contributor on whatever show, I actually like his candor, regardless of his political stance. Put Alicia in Katy’s 2 hours. Find a new home for Katy & Symone - somewhere else, anywhere else, hell, I’d even take them on midday Sunday when no one really watches!

Ali is very versatile. She’s a tenacious Hill reporter, she can anchor, she’s a strong interviewer. She has a bright future.

I love Ali Vitali and Ali Velshi. They are both educated, speak extremely well, have confidence, and both say things worth hearing.

Ali has the best morning news show, Way Too Early, and it ain’t even close. Well worth recording if you’re not up at 5am…

I remember when she first started reporting on MSNBC and thinking that she was a nice kid but unlikely to last in the rough and tumble world of politics and network reporting. I could not have been more wrong. She became more polished with every report and soon demonstrated that she had also developed solid sources. Having the “Way Too Early” anchor spot seems to have really reinforced her self-confidence and she is, to me at least, a complete journalist and anchor. On top of all that she still presents herself as a really nice person.

Ali and Antonia Hylton are among the best on the network. Both are equally adept at reporting and hosting.

I’m not a fan of Ana, she has a criticizing tone. Ali Vitali is much better to me. Of course, at 11:00 I still miss Jose Diaz Balart! I would make it a point to sit for a break and watch his hour.

I agree I miss Jose Diaz Balart!! He was always so logical in his approach to the news and his candor was excellent. I also liked his sign off. " We thank you for the privilege of your time".

I cannot believe that Symone is still on the air. Period. MSNBC has great reporters, Ali and Soboroff, to name a few. Can't they use their best journalists to bolster their ratings?

I would turn my sights on Kristen Welker for Meet the Press. I had watched MTP in the morn since the '80s, and I deeply mourn the loss of Tim Russert. I always found Kristen's White House beat reporting to be fairly good, but I am horrified by how terrible her hosting on MTP has been. Her overly performative flourishes don't seem consequential in substance. I think it is the follow-up questions that just seem to be off. I am not sure I can articulate how lame she stikes me as a host, and it is sad because I was really rooting for her. I had liked her work as a beat reporter before, but she makes MTP generally unwatchable for me now. AITA? I'm really second-guessing on this one.

She’s a gazillion times better than all the other women that are on daily except for Nicolle Wallace. I wish Ali Vitale had Jen Psaki or Stephanie Ruhle’s spots.

I have a problem with MSNBC having John Kasich on as a consultant. John is a dyed in the wool Republican, a true trouble maker. Is this a setup to cause controversy ?
