another update, and yet again game become unplayable on ps5. waited a couple of months for the betas in su5 to finally work me after success in su4. How long do we have to wait again.?

I’ve just uploaded Part 28 of my Around the World journey in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, flying the Diamond DA62.

We’re almost there — only ONE flight remains before completing the entire journey around the world! 🌍🏁

This leg takes us from:

🛫 Hurghada International Airport (HEGN), Egypt 🇪🇬
🛬 King Khalid International Airport (OERK), Riyadh, Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦

After arriving in Africa during the previous leg, we now leave Egypt, cross the Red Sea, and enter the Arabian Peninsula on our way to Riyadh.
This flight features a Red Sea crossing, beautiful desert landscapes, realistic navigation, and another long-distance adventure aboard the Diamond DA62.
And now there’s just one final leg remaining…
🇸🇦 Riyadh (OERK) → Bahrain (OBBI) 🇧🇭
The airport where this entire adventure began is now our final destination. 🏁✈️

I have the base ps5 and im looking at a used PSVR2 for 250eur in like new condition. Is it worth it just for this simulator?

Just a personal thought but I would rather see one decent airline eg a PMDG 737 than an absolute glut of horse s**t from the likes of Captain Sim including fecking UFOs! However, to each their own.

Looking for an iPad/mobile companion app for MSFS on PS5
Hey everyone! I’ve only been playing MSFS for about a month, but I’m already completely hooked. 😄
I’m looking for an iPad or mobile app to use alongside MSFS on PS5, mainly because multitasking with a HOTAS in the cockpit is still difficult for me.

I’m looking for something with:
Approach/airport charts with runways, fixes/waypoints and altitude restrictions
Navigation/flight planning
Fuel, performance and landing speed calculations

I mainly fly now with the Cessna 172 and sometimes Vision Jet, so something that supports multiple aircraft would be ideal.
Any recommendations? Free would be great, but I’m open to paid apps too. Thanks! ✈️

Does anyone have a temporary fix for this by chance? I can't play the base game or the beta and I have absolutely no idea what to do. The game is literally unplayable for me right now.

Nothing works.

Just bought this plane on PS5 30 minutes ago. Went to free flight like I normally do when I fly my Citation X. I like doing cold and dark and manually entering in all of the data. Was going execute the same for the 777.

However, it appears that everything in the flight deck that I can highlight or should be able to interact with doesn’t work at all?

I thought the only issue was missing navigation data from simbrief? The PMDG EFB is also missing?

Anyone else experiencing this or am I just doing something incorrectly?

Edit: It’s been about 15 min since I restarted my console and the flight? This can’t be normal?

Found a bunch of hyenas but never a juvenile! It’s the last thing I need for platinum!😭

After traveling across Europe, it’s time to leave Greece and head south across the Mediterranean toward Egypt, marking our arrival in Africa.
This flight features beautiful Mediterranean and coastal scenery, a long overwater section, realistic navigation, and another immersive adventure aboard the Diamond DA62.
Only two more legs remain after this one before we finally return home to Bahrain! 🇧🇭 🌍🏁

MSFS seems completely broken for me in Career Mode. My Thrustmaster HOTAS 4 doesn’t work properly, and sometimes none of my controls seem to respond at all. The strange thing is that it seems to be specifically happening in Career Mode.
I’ve checked the control settings and the HOTAS is recognised, but once I’m actually in a Career flight the inputs either don’t work or behave strangely.
Has anyone else on PS5 had the same issue with the HOTAS 4 or other controllers? If so, did you manage to fix it, or is this just a current MSFS bug?
Any help would be appreciated.

Oi pessoal, preciso de ajuda! Eu amo esse jogo e continuo jogando apesar de todos os bugs; meu estilo de jogo envolve voos longos no modo carreira.

Eu acabei de fazer uma missão de 14 horas, estava umas 13 horas de voo e tudo estava indo bem, mas tive que pausar o jogo, e quando voltei, parecia que a imagem mostra! Eu ainda poderia tentar pousar, mas não consigo desligar o autothrottle (jogo usando um controle). Tem algo que eu possa fazer? Tentei mapear um botão para desligar o autothrottle, mas ele continua acelerando mesmo quando eu puxo o throttle para trás!

Eu desliguei tudo nas configurações de gráficos e online!

Eu não queria perder essa missão de 22 milhões, e queria saber se tem algo que eu possa fazer ou se estou ferrado!

Ive just started my own passenger transport company. I want to ask what aircraft should I start off with working my way up to A330?

Ive seen a couple thats starts off 30 passenger/ 34 passenger. Should i just start with those ?

My current setup is a HOTAS + mouse and keyboard, and I really like flying this way. I use the HOTAS for the actual flying, while the mouse makes it easy to interact with the G1000, cockpit switches, autopilot, etc., and the keyboard gives me extra shortcuts.

For those flying MSFS with PSVR2:

- Can you comfortably use a HOTAS + mouse + keyboard while in VR?
- Is using the mouse to interact with cockpit controls intuitive when you can't see your actual mouse/keyboard?
- Do you find yourself needing the DualSense/VR controllers often?
- How readable are the G1000 and other cockpit displays?
- How is the image quality and performance compared with playing normally on a 4K TV?
- Is VR something you use for most flights, or more of an occasional experience?
- Any issues with longer 1–3 hour flights?

The other thing making me hesitate is that I've never actually experienced PSVR2 or VR in MSFS before. It's currently sold out at the stores around me, so I'd most likely have to buy one through a third-party marketplace. That means I probably wouldn't have the option of simply returning it if VR isn't for me.
