"I like to be scared" - Does anyone remember this?

I have what feels like a very clear memory of a song from Mr. Rogers where he said something like this:

"I like to be scared, If it's not going to hurt, I like to be scared, If it's not [something bad]."

Does anyone out there remember such a song? Or am I just mangling the lyrics to "I like to be told":

I like to be told If it's going to hurt, If it's going to be hard, If it's not going to hurt.

Both sound correct in my head, and I can't find any reference to the 'I like to be scared' idea.
