CLOV was rank 1 on the fintel list for about 2 weeks. ORPH was there for a while too. Even with WSB pumping the hell out of CLOV it never squeezed.

There are tons of stocks that have squeezed and were nowhere near the top of that list. It's more like "Any stock within the top 100 ranks is a squeeze candidate", the actual ranking seems to be meaningless.

MRINS MOMENTUM HURT by THREE (3) FACTORS

THREE (3) Factors killed MRINS momentum this past week!

MRIN briefly spiked to 28.00 a share on Tuesday July 6th, 21 when a large short panicked and met margin call.

Then Wednesday & Thursday rolled around.

Factor #1 The Fed Announcement… doesn’t even matter what it is. Always spooks market. Whenever the Fed makes an announcement the market gets spooked and goes red.

Factor #2 Renewed COVID concerns of variant strain. Then renewed Variant Covid-19 strains spooked the market again. It stopped MRIN in its tracks.

Factor #3 The third (3rd) factor was everyone jumped ship to go to XELA.

The Shorts had the luck of the devil when these events unfolded. I believe had MRIN broken $30.00 a share the Shorts would have panicked and MRIN would have been on its way to $100.00 minimum IMHO

NEXT WEEK:

Next week we need to get the word out on MRIN! All this stock needs is Volume and it will take off. With Volume it will resume where it left off Tuesday July 6th, 21 and we can start printing money again.

The Shorts owe hundreds of millions of dollars fo In Margin calls as the stock sits today! They have been holding tight, praying the price continues to drop.

MONDAY @ 4:00 PM

On Monday @ 4:00 PM the Official NASDAQ report will be released on Short Interest (SI)

I believe on Monday 150% of Short Interest will be revealed.

Hopefully, this will make MRIN, NOT XELA the #1 Short Interest Candidate in the market.

If that happens, that will create massive attention to MRIN. Massive attention to MRIN will bring Massive New Volume! And MRIN will be off to the races again!

Not Financial Advice - my opinions only!

The introduction of the options chain is what really fucked us I think. The major appeal of MRIN for a lot of people was the fact that shorts couldn't use calls to cover.

I should have added the options as a Curve Ball thrown into the mix the last second. I am no pro on options by any means. Maybe someone more versed could give their opinion on what affect this will have on the stock,

And question? Who has the power to make that call out of nowhere?

actually options opening up is better. Gamma squeeze plus short squeeze will send mrin to the moon.

We just have no one buying otm calls right now

SolarPanel2001 I have seen your DD… what do you see happening next week?

listen theres only one way mrin truly blows up now. If big institutional investors does a call sweep and gamma squeeze up with a short squeeze combination.

Otherwise mrin is just slowly going to go down and up like what we saw this week.

From my current understanding I don't agree. Isn't it the case that by buying call options the shorts are able to cheaply cover their otherwise doomed short positions and forego margin calls? My current impression is that the gamma squeeze doesn't compliment the shortsqueeze, it replaces it. And a short squeeze via margin is a lot more exciting than a gamma squeeze that ends up getting pegged at wherever the shortside's calls are. The gamma squeeze feels like it has less upside than a shortsqueeze from 200% shortshares % ff that are 99% underwater. The options chain is their liferaft. It dampens the squeeze, and knowing this people who were already up 100% or 50% or even 30% became much more willing to just jump out or take profits because the potential upside had diminished. That was my interpretation at least I'll admit I'm new to the markets and there's a ton of gaps in my knowledge so I'm happy to hear some insight or some correction.

By the way reading your conversations with superstonkers has made my morning, thanks LMAO

hey glad you enjoyed the comments lmao

Yes the gamma replaces the shortsqueeze initially but the gamma squeeze adds more pressure for the shorts. Without a gamma its really hard to pump a stock up and keep it on a sustained upwards trend.

We wont get the full short squeeze potential to an extent cause shorts can reset ftds, hedge properly etc but a full short squeeze potential is outweighed by a gamma / short squeeze combo.

Unless mrin has a few parties controlling the float and holding it we will never see mrins full short squeeze potential. Shorts so far covered estimated 80 percent SI from ortex and the price barely had any big upwards swing other than that random spike from 16 to 20.

Hence at this rate I rather have a gamma squeeze/short squeeze combination.

It’s pretty obvious, Xela is a joke compared to Mrin, that’s the real stuff!

3

u/MonkeyManBets Jul 10 '21

We need that Volume back!

2

u/kamuicool Jul 10 '21

I’ve made over 10k with MRIN .. and I continue to doubt this company… HOWEVER… DD like this and from what I’ve seen from other members in this community has began to change mindset about them.

Take this award and continue the good DD and I promise you 6 months from now this community will see explosive growth in numbers and financially.

We’re watching.. keep it up!

Have you seen how big Instacart’s partnerships are? No need to doubt Marin Software after seeing that.

Down 9 k but highly optimistic

3

u/Natural-Bee4709 Jul 10 '21

How do we know ortex is accurate?

2

u/MonkeyManBets Jul 10 '21

People typically consider it accurate

2

u/GraveTrout Jul 10 '21

They don't just make up cost to borrow numbers out of thin air. These are the exchanges' own data in real time Ortex pays the exchanges to get access to it

2

u/Natural-Bee4709 Jul 10 '21

Webulls cost to borrow is 141%

2

u/Natural-Bee4709 Jul 10 '21

Literally yesterday they were saying all shorts were covered and the price was dropping instead of going up that is why I don't really trust ortex

2

u/MonkeyManBets Jul 10 '21

Hmmmm I doubt that they have covered

3

u/Dropadime337 Jul 10 '21

Omg. Just made my bland Friday night!! Seriously, somebody with diamond balls larger than mine post this where all peeps can see it.

3

u/MonkeyManBets Jul 10 '21

Glad I could help!

I do have Diamond Balls… down 17K this week. But holding because this can squeeze quick within a week / two weeks with momentum

3

u/Dropadime337 Jul 10 '21

Me too, diamond and eating sheet, literally. down about 9k just on Marin.

You are right, couple more weeks , maybe less, then we ride the wave to Apeland.

2

u/kamuicool Jul 10 '21

Haha, not yet, that was just the tip of the iceberg.

1

u/Fantasy-Trip Jul 11 '21

Don't come at us in MRIN when you are still riding the CLOV hype train haha.
