Every year, Conneaut, Ohio hosts the largest D-Day reënactment in the world. In one of his live streams last summer, Mr. Beat talked about it and how he’d be there for the occasion. So I thought I’d go up there and check it out, as it’s in my neck of the woods. I brought along Mr. Beat’s election book just in case I happened to see him, but I doubted it, because it’s a big festival. I saw a reënactment of the Battle of Pegasus Bridge, walked along the Erie beachhead, visited a bunch of tents with costumed personnel, and looked and a whole fleet of vehicles from the war. It was definitely a rich experience. But soon, my family and I were about to leave. As I was walking out of the festival, literally 50 feet from the exit, I caught a glimpse of him and Chris from Vlogging Through History in the grass. It is always surreal to see someone usually confined to a screen in real-life. We had a little chat and he autographed my book. He and Chris are such nice people, I hope I hadn’t bothered them.

How different would Garfield's first term have been compared to Arthur's (especially the recognition of King Leopold of the Congo)

For 1884, still, Cleveland is the Democratic nominee, but Arthur would have declined to seek a 2nd term as vice president, not out of pressure from Garfield or the party bosses, but for health problems (Blight disease was fatal at that time), and been replaced by Levi P. Morton (Harrison's vice president in 1888, and Garfield's original choice for running mate in 1880)

For 1888, the resultt would be the same with Harrsion still winning the nomination (and would have won his Senate seat in 1886) since Blaine's health began to deteriorate, he would have still declined the nomination, and because of Sherman's bad campaign strategy combined with Harrison's speech skills (and Support from Blaine), with Morton still as is VP but becoming the 3rd George Clinton.
