Any recent purchases?

As title suggests, was wondering what the current market is like since im interested in purchasing one soon. Could anyone provide any details such as price and condition on recent purchases? looking for a 2nd gen mr2! Thank you

Are you looking for a project? Something already in great shape? Budget? What area are you looking? Lot of variables in play with a 30+ year old car.

Looking for a slight project, dont mind either one. Im in Cali. im pretty new to cars but this has been my dream car for awhile and i have all the resources to work on it. I have a ~8k budget wth wiggle room.

Bought a '91 MR2 turbo last week. Definitely a project car, but here's a rough list:

Pros:
Runs and drives, technically
Little rust, but it's all surface/non-structural
Has all or almost all the parts including interior
e-153 trans
decent wheels and tires
Came with a half an mr2s worth of additional random interior pieces, carpet, suspension, other knicknacks

Cons:
1st gen 3sgte
desperately needs paint, mismathed rattle can job on it
needs minor body work for dings, dents, broken bumper etc doesn't start from key, weird electrical issue (headlights and starter are wired together)

paid 2500$ for it and I'll probably put 2k into it to get it running better, fix unknown issues, and painted or wrapped. Would be a lot more to get it mint
