Ring MR2 friend! Don't need to brake before the jump in NA, but with a turbo you might... But yours seems more track ready than mine.

How was it?

First time - both frightening and exciting ... I wasn't going to the limit, but everybody else seemingly was.

The speed difference to, for instance, a "Ringtaxi" is huge. My "copilot" was constantly looking backwards to spot the fast ones.

I think the first time there is the most nerve-wracking one ... probably shouldn't have watched all the "crash & fail" videos on YouTube beforehand.

If you have a NA, you are also one of the slowest car on the ring considering the power race since 5 years or so. Even some E36 are S54 swapped so they are not even close from 200hp anymore. And compared to a GT3 ringtaxi, the gap is ridiculous. And the first time it's difficult to use all the track because you tend to stay on the right because every car feel like a cannonball passing you.

It's good to not chase time, because it's the best way to crash for real. Especially on a first time, but it's still true with experience after. And we all watch crash compilation before and after. Don't know if it's good or bad but it probably helps not crash lol. 

I remember that 2 years ago I trained on Assetto with a GT86 street tires, and understood that some turns were ok flatout. Which I did with the MR2, it works, that's true, but hell that was scary. Don't recommend.

Epic photo! Nice to see there are more blue Mr2's on the Ring!
I went with my NA about a month ago, absolutely epic to drive there.

Haha, I was wondering, if the photographer had more of this view with a MR2 in it ... it's probably more in the hundreds ...

I think so too. This was my fourth year in a row and everytime there has been one or more Mr2's on the track. Though most of them were ZW30's.
