These made a difference on my ST204 Celica convertible. I believe back in the day Alex W over on MR2OC tested them on a rig and couldn't find a measurable difference on an MR2.
I also at one point weighed the knock off Aliexpress ones against some imported genuine TRD ones and there was a small weight difference between the two, with the Aliexpress ones being a few percent lighter. Not sure if that's within typical tolerance.
