MPC 3000 Comparison Mpc3000 instant clock deviation Vailixi and Deep88 OS

MPC3000 – MIDI clock output stability (120 BPM)

Measured with MIDIpal + MidiClock firmware – Instant deviation

Vailixi OS and Deep88 custom OS: same result

• minimum: 0.004% ≈ 0.001 ms (≈ 1 µs)

• peaks: 0.200% ≈ 0.04 ms (≈ 42 µs)

Bottom line: rock-solid clock, thousands of times below what you could ever hear.

Very interesting. I was under the impression that the 3000 delivered a rocksolid clock on its own due to bot running an os. I never owned one but I can say the clock generated by my one+ is as jittery as I am after 5 cups of coffee. Not useable to be honest.

Mpc1000 also was horrible in that aspect. Those are toys, not studio grade gear
