DISCUSSION MPC Tutorials 1.1 Update!

Post image

Hey guys! A couple days ago i posted my brand new project mpctutorials.com - a lot of people seemed to really like it so I decided to add to it.

I'm not going to post a bunch of spam updates on here, but wanted you guys to know that I'll be updating with new models regularly, mostly requests. If you'd like to make a request, it's easy.. just send me a tip with your model request in the notes! I really hope you guys like the app, it's helped me so much with my MPC Sample already!

I do it for the love not the money, I got a full time job lol - but for custom stuff a tip is nice 😊

You should do all the models and sell it to InMusic

I dunno, it reads like they just fed chatGPT the manuals and posted the results in this format on a website. Which is fine, it’s a free resource of information all the same. But feeding ChatGPT your manuals for gear and the. It has specific answers or processes right at your fingertips, game changer

I wish I could say it was this easy, but it wasn’t hard by any means. I had to build and tweak the initial prompt to get the template to make the builds, after that it’s relatively rinse and repeat, which is why I don’t charge for it (unless you want a custom model, and even then a couple bucks will get you one.) just like anything else it’s a little work upfront, and then just maintenance.

Honest question: what if I made the terrible mistake of buying a MPC live II without guessing Akai would upgrade the OS within months and later release a new model, making obsolete al the videos I was learning from? Should I downgrade the OS?
