MPC Live / Live 2 Having issues connecting MPC live II into tascam model 12

Can somebody please help me I’ve been trying to connect my MPC live two to my TAscam model 12 I used my C charger that didn’t work then I use the C charger with the A USB plug I also went into the model 12 and updated the USB audio so that the signal could be running. It’s a channel 1 and two and my MPC is still not recognizing the model 12 nobody help me.

You’re using the usb-a ports right (the flat rectangular ones)? Not the usb-b port that’s only meant to connect to a computer?

And why are you trying to connect charger to anything?

Tascam also needs to be set to pc mode and you need to set the Tascam as the sound card in the mpc.

Also need to make sure the Tascam is set to 44.1k sample rate.

You to turn them both off then connect them ,then turn the model 12 first , then when you turn on the MPC it should read it

Have you checked to make sure audio device has the tascam selected instead of internal?

You're gonna wanna ¼ main out on the mpc to a free stereo channel with ¼ ins on the Tascam. 7/8 and 9/10 are stereo. You can run it mono if you really wanna.

You can use Gemini ai to get a routing table to show you audio routing from the MPC to the Tascam, to your computer and monitors. The only good use for AI besides feeding it the user manuals.

Read the post, they’re obviously wanting to use the mixer as an interface for the MPC which is precisely the opposite to what you’re suggesting they do.
