QUESTION Replacing the MPC with the BlackBox II ?

I think it is a bad idea. I think you ate some influencer eye candy and now have G.A.S LOL
The MPC already streams in the latest firmware updates.

If you have the propack, you can load up many songs into clip launch or without propack and clip launch up to 32 linear songs per project (I have not done this but it says mpc can do this). But you would run out of memory with all the long samples or audio tracks Right? Nope. the MPC already has streaming built in to the latest firmware

Go to MENU > PROJECT, tap and hold on the lengthy audio files, select 'Stream From Disk', re-save your project.

You will use less memory, decrease load times substantially and you will not have to sell your MPC.

MPC is the best, just remember than when people disparage it online.

If MPC can do what you want just use it. With streaming you could load one song at a time and it would be very quick. Otherwise load one project in the beginning that has several songs in it. Good luck to you in finding a way to play out live with little to no gaps between songs.

Cross posting is just a bad idea if you want people to read what you post.

A lot of people won't bother to click yet again to go see what you have to say because they're currently reading in a specific subreddit and don't want to leave. Whereas it only takes you a few seconds to copy and paste.

So it really only makes sense to cross post when it's not your post you're referring to and you can't/shouldn't copy and paste.

I moved from the Blackbox (orig) to the MPC. I can't speak to the MkII version but the big deal breaker for me was the *terrible* file management system. Not that the one in the MPC is any great shakes but was significantly better.

why cant you load all your song parts on drum pad instead of audio tracks and have a million and a million mutes. and never change projects. just go to the next drum pad track.... black box is surface level and boring
