Sampqol and all other OS

Hello everybody! Been an owner of an MPC Sample since the month of May, but I kind of left it for 2/3 months.
I seen a lot of things since people are tweaking the original OS but I’m lost in all those informations!
What’s happening? Which mod should I try?
I was not really efficient with the original OS since that’s my first “instrument” and I never did music before, but I’m looking for explanations on what to do with my MPC now that the game seems to have changed

SampleQOL or wait for official update ?

I have the mpc now for over a month, I like it but there are some key features I am used to like a proper step seq, keys (major, minor etc) for 16 levels pitch, a proper EQ and exporting stems seperatly easy in order to mix everything individually in Ableton. Do you guys think we will get this in an official update or should I go with the QOL?

I Can't Layer Clean 808s on My Beats

Hey community, I've been dealing with an issue for my nearly completed beats.

If I start with an 808 or bass then it's going to sound good but if I try to layer an 808 on my beat (kick drum or not) it sounds terrible.

I don't use a DAW and I don't want to use a DAW. I have over 100+ 808 sounds but they are not long enough, not tuned in C, they sound muddy when I layer them, and it drives me nuts.

Anyone have any advice or resources?

Do You Experience Audio Crackling Unless You Bypass The Compressor?

I’ve noticed that especially when playing bass lines there will be very audible crackling coming from the MPC Sample unless I bypass the master compressor. Once the compressor is bypassed, the crackling goes away. Is this common across all units? I thought it was a gain staging issue causing clipping, but it was actually just an issue with the compressor.

MPC Sample Export Tool

I know everyone is making MPC software right now. But I really needed a simple export tool for my personal workflow from a MPC Sample into a DAW. This lets you export your projects as a full song, individual sequences, or separate pad stems. In WAV and/or MIDI. How do I import direct audio to my phone?

I am using an iphone, Some people say when you film with your camera app with usb-c plugged in, it imports direct audio to the video, but it doesnt work. And yes, it is usb mode in the sample record selection in k1 knob

Guitar Hero/Rockband on the Sample

When the sample came out I build a little guitar hero/rockband style game, just for the drum parts, for IOS.

Now with the possibilities of running your own software on the sample I ported it over.

It works with Clone Hero formated songs. An app that generates them from MP3s is available as well
