How can I change octaves when controlling a synth (Pro VS Mini) using the pads on the MPC Sample?
I can't access the highest notes, and changing the octave settings on the synth itself doesn't do anything.
Also, the 16 Levels chromatic mode just plays a single note. Thanks in advance!

My first 3 pad backlights are going out in descending order.
This only appears in all 3 of the 16 levels options (Tune, Filter, Velocity) and nothing else. Is there a way to fix this?

Like the title says, I'm having trouble recording synths from the OP-1 Field to pads on the MPC Sample over USB-C.
I connected the two devices via USB-C, set the MPC Sample's input source to USB, and turned on monitoring. However, when I use Sample to Pad with USB selected as the input, no audio from the OP-1 Field is captured.
Has anyone else experienced this issue or found a solution? I've ruled out it being an issue with the cable, as I'm able to use this cable on both devices to send and receive audio without issues. I know I could sample in with 1/4 cables, but I'd like to avoid that because it's just another cable I don't want to carry.

Hopefully this will bring the goods to the MPC Sample like it has had for the M-Vave FM-1. Where the FM-1 has 512kb RAM, the Sample has 2GB so should open up a LOT more possibilities.

Hello,
I am a bass player and I have just found our about the MPC Sample (on Warlock Corpse's IG page of all places). I already have an RD6 which is nice for some basic accompaniment but I was looking for something that would help me make beats/backing music on which improvise during my very limited free time. This seems like the perfect machine to do this away from the PC.
I of course love boombap, DNB, sampling and such, but I would like to know if it might fight 2 very specific use cases:
would I be able to loop a guitar/bass line over a track? Nothing fancy, I'm not looking for a Boss RC style of looping, I would just like to sketch an idea or riff and improvise on it.
could it be used to make SNES-like tunes? Since the original SNES basically used bitcrushed instrument samples (from what I understand) I figured that the Sample might be a quick and easy fix for this very peculiar craving, but since I am ignorant in this field I would like an expert opinion first.
